A terrific shoe at a great price
These are my first pair of minimalist shoes and I am very pleased with them. I have narrow feet and normally wear sneakers in a size 9.5. I purchased these in 9.5 wide and they fit perfectly. The shoes hug my feet and are very light. Inside, they have a thin removable insole that helps when walking on hard surfaces. I be wearing them with the insole because it does not reduce their flexibility and I’m not quite ready to go with a fully minimal foot bed. The quality is really good. The shoes are light as a feather and as comfortable as a pair of slippers. They also look great with jeans or shorts. These are an excellent choice whether you are new to minimalist shoes or just want a pair that doesn’t cost a fortune.

    Very good product
I just recieved the shoes so this isn’t an endurance review. I feel the shoes very confortable, very good materials and flexibility. The width is just as good as they mention, and the grip is awesome. They’re very light and the size chart is very accurate. I’m very happy with my purchase so far. Will upgrade if anything negative shows up

    Supply issue — Size caution
Several months ago I was prepared to write a great review for this shoe but the situation has evolved. I still like the shoe. I’ve worn one pair for three months and ordered a second pair. But there are issues, mostly with order/return processing. Orders BTW were “sold by Whitin” and “shipped from Amazon”.Long story short: The first order took a very long time to arrive — and then, weirdly, the record disappeared from my Amazon account. But I liked the shoes and ordered another pair, selecting a different color this time. After another long wait the shoes arrived but they were the wrong color. And even more disagreeably they were soiled and worn-looking; obviously a returned pair, floating loose in a cardboard box. I sent them back to exchange for right color… hoping, also, for an unused pair!Third time’s a charm. After a fairly brief wait I received the correct color; clean, fresh, and packaged like new shoes. But by this time, after three months, a quality issue had developed with the first pair. The lace loop, the loop glued to the shoe’s tongue, has become nearly detached on one shoe. It’s a small problem, not worth returning for, and won’t keep me from wearing the shoes — but it’s disappointing.Bottom line: As a fan of barefoot-style shoes, I like these. They are light and flexible with a minimal arch and a comfortable forefoot space. Soles seem to wear well and uppers seem fairly tough. One caution on sizing: The removable insole measures almost exactly what the chart says for that size — but what the chart doesn’t account for is that the shoe adds at least another .5cm of length beyond the insole. Don’t order too large — think moccasin. Soft shoes feel sloppy if too large. Lack of half-sizes could be a problem for some.

Excellent at the price and stylish too!
I purchased a black pair on a hunch and was so pleasantly surprised that I bought a dark grey pair a few days later. Zero-drop shoes are most comfortable for me when exercising and for casual wear. In the past, I purchased Altras for both. Altra stopped making the simple black casual shoes. The newer model running shoes don’t appeal to me. And both styles are overpriced at $120-$140. These feel great. They’ll equal the short life of Altras, and they’re suitable for casual business dress, all for significantly less money. The sizing is European, so if you’re on the line (I’m between a 10-10.5, size up).

    Really Comfy!
I really like these shoes. They’re well made, and very comfortable. There is plenty of room for my toes to splay out, although my feet are average width. Lots of ventilation, and lightweight. The sole is not super thin, but is very flexible and you can feel the ground pretty well. For me, it’s just the right amount of cushion.I wear a 10.5 in Nike and most other shoes, and a size 10.0/43 fits me perfectly.

Too much fabric in the toe-box.
Overall there is too much fabric in the toe box, such that when taking a step, the fabric breaks against and rubs the tops of my toes. I received some hot spots on a few walks and stopped wearing them. The heal-cup was a little unforgiving as well. With a shoe like this, I imagine it comes down to foot type/shape and how the shoe fits you. For me, they were not a good fit.Yes, low profile.Yes, excellent lugs for traction.Yes, true to size (went with their size chart).Yes, an affordable minimal footwear design.

    Very comfortable
As a triathlete, these shoes have been very comfortable from day 1. Use them with speed laces for quick on and off. I have narrow feet but these do not feel wide like Altra’s do, and make running fun again! Have put about 50 miles on them in both trail and road conditions and so far are holding up very well.

Great toe space. Womens 10w/mens 8w
Sitched out my Columbia boots for these. Yes, im a woman who just couldnt find a woman’s shoe that I liked that didnt cost an arm and a leg and thought i would give these a try. I am so happy I did. I have only gone on one hike so far but it was a very rocky challenging hike and my toes didnt hurt once! The bottoms of my left foot felt a little sore the next day but this was a rocky trail in for the most part and these are bare foot shoes but I really do like the way these feel when on the trail. Not sure how these will last as they dont feel super high quality but thats not what I was expecting for the cost and im not a hard core hiker either, so I think this would be a great purchase for a casual hiker who goes like once or twice a month or just an everyday walking shoe. Extremely comfortable.Ladies, dont be scared that its marketing says mens shoes.

  9. Sharon Penner

These shoes are very comfortable but they do need to get half sizes for people the are in between sizes

Me quedaron muy bien, si lo recomiendo
